Arlberg Skitouring
See Arlberg Mountain beyond the crowds with a tour into the pristine backcountry: Get away from the hustle and bustle, and enjoy the tranquillity of the scenic backcountry in a ski tour.
The safest way to get you out in Arlberg’s alpine wilderness is joining a certified ski guide or an experienced group. Information on avalanche safety, terrain assessment and weather conditions are available through the St Anton Tourist Board or the Mountain Rescue. Survey control stations can be found at Galzig, Rendl, Gampberg, and Dawinalpe (data are updated hourly).

Arlberg Sledding & Tobogganing
Sledding Fun for all Ages!
Tobogganing: Ride like the wind down the 4 kilometres long, natural toboggan run from Gampen to Nasserein on-board traditional wood toboggans. The exhilarating ride takes some 15 minutes and covers 500 metres of vertical drop.
Bundle up the kids in hats, scarves and mittens and head for the hills and runs in Pettneu, Schnann, Flirsch and Strengen.
It’s the perfect après ski activity for the family! Sleds and toboggans can be rented from all sports stores or directly at Nasserein Gondola (as of 7:15pm).

The unconventional Terrain Competition on Arlberg Mountain
Undisputed highlight in the annual winter calendar of events is „The White Thrill“, taking place April 22, 2023.
Skiers, boarders, and telemarkers grind it out at this massive snow jam. The 9K long track winds all the way down from lofty Valluga Ridge to the valley, dropping 1,350 meters in elevation.
Record Time: 7 minutes and 9 seconds
Average Time: 11 – 18 minutes
